In the years 1978-1983 Mögel was in the focus of the emerging punk scene in Sweden. With almost 500 gigs throughout Sweden and Europe and a now classic record recorded in France, music history was made. In 2009, Massproduktion released a collection with this album as well as lots of unreleased tracks from their franticly active years.
In 2018, Mögel made a grand return with the song Mitt Orange Kuvert. The song was about the grim prospects of being a senior citizen that was heard all the way down to the TV sofas and made concerned state authorities and journalists contact the band.
One year later, it's time for a new release. This time it is a reaction to all the news headlines in the style of "You may have a hidden illness" and the bottomless opportunities to develop full blown hypochondria that Google offers.
As on the last release – this track is produced by Jakob Torgander and recorded in Studio Cobra by Martin Ehrencrona.
In May 2019, Mögel made a live debut at Darling Desperados & Dan Nakagawa's performance -Wonderful Days - a performance involving musicians, dancers, actors and video artists from Stockholm, São Paulo and London.
On October 18, the song Hypokondri will be released on all digital platforms via Playground Music and Massproduktion. A little bit later there will also be a nice video directed by Morris Chiguer Malmgren.
In 2020, the show Wonderful Days will tour Brazil and other countries.
Hypokondri (Hypochondriac) - produced by Jakob Torgander
Ulrika Malmgren - vocals
Eva Bergström - guitar

Mjältbrand. Ont i en tand.
Tinnitus eller lupus.

ies.
