During their frantic existence 1978-1983, Mögel made close to 500 gigs in Sweden and Europe and released a now classic record recorded in France.

Their edgy punk was a in the focus point of Swedish early punk and one of the most important band at the time, that had appeal beyond the punk scene and was appreciated among both experimentalists such as Fred Frith and Ferdinand Richard and established culture. They did radio shows with Erland Josephson (Ingmar Bergman’s favorite actor) and TV documentary with Ebba Grön and gigs with Rock in Opposition.

Ulrika - the vocalist - was one of the three hosts on the provocative radio show Ny Våg that was the only show playing the music of the punk scene in Sweden.

40 years have passed. 2018 is 1978.

The frustration is back, dark skies gather over Sweden and Mögel must do something about it.

Mitt Orange kuvert is punk for our time. With energy, anger and humour they attack the prospect of a grim future as a senior citizen…
